Blue Single-Frequency Pulsed Laser for Holography

Also at the Laser Research Institute of the University of Stellenbosch a pulsed blue laser with a high repetition rate was developed for a USA holography company.

Also at the Laser Research Institute of the University of Stellenbosch a pulsed blue laser with a high repetition rate was developed for a USA holography company. A single-frequency pulsed 1314 nm TEM00 Nd:YLF laser was converted to red (657 nm) and then to blue (438 nm). Due to its single-frequency operation the laser had a high coherence length.
