Our website makes use of so-called cookies in order to recognize repeat use of our website by the same user/internet connection subscriber. In order to safeguard our online website, we use the “Wordfence Security” service which is operated by Defiant Inc., 800 5th Ave., Suite 4100, Seattle, WA 98104, USA. The usage is done upon the basis of our entitled interests in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f) GDPR.
The website uses the plug-in in order to protect against viruses and malware and in order to ward off attacks by computer criminals. In order to protect against brute force and DdoS attacks or comment spam, IP addresses of atacking devices are stored locally on our webserver. Thus, repeating attacks from identical IP adresses can ward off more efficently. Storage of IP adresses is done locally only. There is no exchange of personal data with external services, in particular Defiant Inc. Stored IP adresses will be deleted by default after 30 days.
Wordfence Security safeguards our website and thus protects the visitors to the website from viruses and malware. This constitutes an entitled interest in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f GDPR. Live Traffic View of Wordfence is limited to security related trafic only.
