Q-switched High-Power Nd:YLF Laser

At the Laser Research Institute (LRI) of the University of Stellenbosch a diode-pumped TEM00 Nd:YLF laser with 10 mJ pulses at 5 kHz was developed.

At the Laser Research Institute (LRI) of the University of Stellenbosch a diode-pumped TEM00 Nd:YLF laser with 10 mJ pulses at 5 kHz was developed. To date this laser boasts the best performance of all pulsed Nd:YLF lasers in the literature.
