Implementation of a fibre-based coherent detection in a wind lidar

In the wind lidar WiLi of the Leibniz Institute for Troposphere Research the existing coherent detection system was replaced with a modern balanced receiver with optical fibres. The design was developed and the implementation in the lidar was done jointly with the staff of the institute that was then trained for the use of the detection system.
